I bought this based off of reviews. The actual packaging states it is for younger children but this in my opinion is inaccurate. It is actually perfect for 6th and 7th graders. My 7th grader needed a basic calculator this year. What I like about this one specifically is that you can do fractions on it which is great for rechecking his work. It comes with a slide case for it which is also nice and I don’t believe the description tells you that. The operation options are really nice and easy to use on this calculator. I can see my kids using this for many years to come. Great purchase! .
Needed this when I was in middle school prior to TI84 why wasn’t I ever told there was a calculator that does time & fractions? I was diagnosed with learning disabilities and I never did so well in math. Now, in college, I need this again for a class with math in it (yuck). The price didn’t burn a hole in my pocket because I didn’t have to do graphing but this really helps me on math problems. .
My daughter waved this is the air and declared it the most fantastic thing ever! I as an adult who hasn’t done 7th grade math in a while and now get called upon to do so, think it’s pretty good too. Why sure honey, let me check your work and make sure you did it right. I like the fraction feature as well as the problem remaining on the screen along with the answer. Doesn’t have more advanced scientific functions but that’s OK for now, besides I get this calculator when we buy a new one next year. I Thank you Casio. ( Like the solar power too) .
My son uses this to check his math answers. The remainder function is invaluable and not something we’ve ever found anywhere else. As we get deeper into fractions, I can see it being very helpful for that also.Great size for 11 yo to hold and use. Cover makes it durable. Excellent product. .

Calc pictured(with formulas/function instructions on front) was not the same as the one delivered. I received a different version where formulas were on back part of machine, were embossed in the plastic an harder to read) and machine was not as depicted in image. .
Perfect calculator for my middle school student. This is what the teacher asked for. .
