Spool did not fit with the compatible adding machine as advertised as spools of ink were wound in the opposite direction and did not fit. Rewinding the spool would not work properly either. A waste of time and money. Very disappointing. .
I bought a 6 pack and they are dry. No better than the old one I took out. Must have been on the shelf way to long. ðŸ˜Ÿ .

When i first started using the new ribbon the print was just as light as the old worn out ribbon, but the more use it has seen the darker it has gotten. The only problem is that the description notes there are 3 ribbons and there were only 2 in the package. The package actually lists 2 ribbons. Seller needs to change that in the description as I don’t think I’m the only customer noting this. .
These brought the colors back to life on the adding machine. Great price I-M-O. .

Not a whole lot more you can say about these inked ribbons. They are an exact replacement for the factory reels at a fraction of the cost. My wife, who is not a mechanical whiz (sorry dear, I’m trying to put it gently! :)) figured out how to change out the old and put a new one in all by herself!To summarize: they fit, they work, they’re easy to install and they’re easy on the wallet. At first I thought it was a good buy for me and upon putting it into the calculator the ink was nice and dark. However, after using it just for about 1 week now, the ink has gotten very light and become more difficult to read my figures, Dont know why the ribbon seems to get dry so fast as I am not using it excessive or even that often. I did one bank reconciliation and it is already quite lite and more difficult to read. .
I sincerely appreciate the apology message and I expect when I receive the correct ink everyone will be happy. I received the wrong product and the seller was quick to realize the mistake and rectified it immediately. I have only good things to say now! I highly recommend this seller. .

Purchased six-pack. Print from first new ribbon was so light it was barely visible. Checked to make sure ribbon was winding properly from spool to spool. Opened a second new ribbon and it was even worse that the first. Have been using Sharp calculators daily for 40+ years and never purchased such an inferior ribbon. Wish I had kept my old ribbon! Look elsewhere. .
Ribbons arrived on time as promised. The ribbons were wrapped separately in a small, good for storing box. I have a Sharp EL-1197PIII 12 key calculator and the ribbon was easy to install and works perfectly. If I had any issue at all, I’d have preferred to have been able to order a smaller quantity of ribbons (3 instead of 6) as I don’t use my calculator on that often. That’s really a preference and not an issue with the product itself. Perhaps the company could consider making smaller quantity offers available in the future. I would recommend this company and these ribbons. .
The ink is feint, very light, hard to read and ribbon does not last. Why in the world is this substandard product an Amazon Choice? .
Please don’t misconstrue a four star rating as a quality complaint. These ribbons are absolutely perfect. Works like new, my print is once again bold and bright; and red is back to red again But these are ribbons and those of us old enough to have ONLY had typewriters at one time; recall what our fingertips looked like when changing ribbons. Still the case with these Product quality, exactly as intended. Delivery speed, EXCELLENT. Packaging, could not be more perfect. .

I know, in this day and age, having and using an actual typewriter is like having a dinosaur for a pet. But in my work environment, there are times when I have to use it. I was pleased to find the Brother 1030 Correctable Ribbon for Daisy Wheel Typewriter cartridges on Amazon much cheaper than what I can purchase them for in our local office supply store–when I can find them. The cartridge I have been using works just the same as others in the past. I have not had any problem with it sticking or interfering with the correction ribbon. The ribbon strikes are clear and concise. Based on my experience, I will purchase again. .
My first cartridge did NOT yield 50,000 characters, it was rather closer to HALF that. I know because I use it to type the same forms and I also know the number of forms I go through. A real Brother ribbon lasts me for several years and this one lasted a little over one year. .
Works with our Brother AX-15 Electronic Typewriter. My in-laws gave us their old typewriter after our son kept asking for a typewriter. This ink fits and functions. My son is thrilled! He’s been typing like a madman. .

My 90+ year old Mother-in-law may be the last person in the world to still use a real adding machine. And when the print got to faint to read she blamed the machine. Luckily I found these on Amazon, and they were a direct fit for her machine. The ribbon was easy to install and now she does not complain about the adding machine.If only I could solve the other complaints that easy!!! .
The ribbons I received did not last long. I don’t do a lot of printing but these ribbon faded fast. I will try another ribbon next time. .

In my accounting office we go through a lot of calculator ribbons and these seem to last much longer than others I have bought. The ink is good, bright black and red, for a reasonable length of time. Going forward, these will be my go-to ribbons. .
