Top Reviews
Pros:__________• It’s very comfortable. When you wear the Versa 2, the weight is balanced enough that it doesn’t bring any discomfort, and light enough to sometimes forget you have it on.• The design is almost identical to an Apple Watch. With square rounded corners, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference if you had both of them side by side.• I had no discomfort wearing this Fitbit when I slept and had no itchy feeling around my skin when I woke up. Overall, you can wear this all day without any issues.• The screen has great contrast, vivid colors, and has excellent brightness. On a clear sunny day, I put this display to the test and it passed with flying color. Outstanding outdoor viewability.• The Alexa feature does work. I did like the fact that with you can speak to this watch as if it was a smartphone, and Alexa will answer to you (in text). Weather report, nearby stores, and overall a quick way to get an answer (More details later on).• Fitbit is pushing this Versa 2 into the world of smartwatches, as you’re able to control any of your smart home devices with this watch. I only have some smart light bulbs, so my testing was turning them on and off with this Fitbit. Please to say that it worked flawlessly.• I felt the sleep scoring system was pretty accurate. I tested it for almost a week and the graph displaying for my sleep fit my experience. Fitbit always does a great job providing your data in a visually appealing look on the app and in desktop form.• The alarm feature is very useful. When the Versa 2 is tracking your sleep, it will find the best time to wake you up before you “actually†have to wake up. Everyone has a different sleep cycle (light and deep sleepers) so you may expect a different outcome. Usually, it’s within the 30-minute time frame before your alarm is set.• The other fitness programs in the Fitbit (activity trackers, heart rate, distance travel, calories burned, and so forth) are all decently accurate and effective. This technology isn’t new, but Fitbit does make fitness trackers that are consumer-friendly. You’ll be surprised how complex some tracker out there are. If you had the previous Versa, you should expect the same layout.• Some features like the Relax app (guides you through breathing exercises), movement reminders (lets you know when you been sitting for too long) and step counts all stimulated me to be more active. It’s hard to explain but when you see your progress on a graph, or even a number, you feel compelled to keep growing it. Because of Fitbit’s friendly visual graphs, you don’t have to write anything and overall it brings a form of motivation to keep increasing your numbers.• Numerous exercise modes, training guides, and even 10-minute training cycles. Like I mention before, if you need something to motivate you to work out, this will be it.• One of the best features in the Always-On-Display. I’m a huge fan of this because you’re not wearing the watch every second of your life. It’s nice to see that you can leave it on a table and the display will still viewable, like any other watch.• Third-party apps like Uber are available for this watch. I don’t use Uber, but it’s good to know that third-party app companies are putting their foot in Fitbit.• Going for a jog, the watch vibrates when I get a notification, which is just a text for me. It’s also pretty straight forward in deciding what you want to be notified about.• Yes, you can swim with it. Haven’t tested this out though.• Battery life is good, compared to the other smartwatches out there. Around 3 days of use before I need to charge it. Maybe 2 if I’m using it a lot, and the Always-On-Display is on max brightness.Cons and Oks:__________• There is a connectivity issue that I’m dealing with my Versa. It would disconnect from my phone and would take numerous times in trying to reconnect it. I have no idea why it’s doing this but I’ve noticed past reviews online addressing the same issue. It has to be a software problem because others are not getting this issue as well. Be on the lookout.• Another issue with the connectivity is you won’t know if there is no connection until you physically look at the display. This is a huge issue if you have notifications, texts, and updates coming from your phone to this watch. If the watch is disconnected, and your phone is not with you, you may miss some important stuff.• On the display, I felt Fitbit’s main icons are very unclear. What I liked about Android and Apple is that even if you never used there OS, you can tell where to go with the icons they provide you. The icons that Fitbit provide are very unclear and if you don’t use this device often you’re going to be lost in there OS.• You’re paying decent money for the device but Fitbit restricts a lot of it as they want you to sign up for their monthly “Premium†services. This monthly Fitbit service offers a great deal of programs, but if you don’t want to pay a monthly payment then you’re stuck with the “basic†software of the watch.• No idea why Fitbit did this but you can’t stream Spotify on this watch unless you have premium Spotify subscription. Not only that but you can’t even allow playback from this device to your speakers, phone, etc. I hope they fix this as it seems you need to pay more to use the watch fully.• Alexa provides the basics of communication but other than that I found it useless. The voice recognition lacks useful search results and since there are no built-in speakers, you’ll never get any audio notifications and hear Alexa’s answers. Middle of a workout, you will have to stop and look at the text that Alexa provides.• To even use Alexa, you need to install Amazon’s Alexa’s app on the phone and have an account with it.• No integration with Apple Health and Google fit. You have to stick with Fitbit all the way.• No GPS. You need to connect it to your phone to all GPS tracking. Without it, this creates a reduction in accuracy when you run. I didn’t find it to be that much off, but it’s enough that I think you should know.• Has some thick bezels around the screen.• If you want to change the strap, expect a fight. Fitbit locks the brands pretty solid, so taking them out ain’t going to be fun.• I wish that you can customize the Always-on-display because currently, it’s a very simple layout. Not customizable to your choosing.• Currently I can’t respond to text messages with this watch with my iPhone, but you can use this feature on an Android.• I notice that Fitbit doesn’t have a payment system of their own. When you want to buy an app, you’re going to paying directly to the developer, where they can use any payment system they want. So far this isn’t an issue but it’s something to note in the long run due to security reasons.• You can’t even store your favorite apps for quick access.• Up 300 songs you can store on the desktop Fitbit app, but you have to transfer them over WIFI. No wire transfer and depending on your WIFI speed, it will take some time.• When you get a notification, or ask Alexa a question, you’re going to get a one-sentence answer. Numerous times I found this frustrating because you’re not getting any context to help you, and it just leads you to want more.• Your phone needs to be with you to fully use this watch. The Versa is an accessory to your phone.Bottom Line:__________It’s not a smartwatch for your phone. You have to get on board with this idea before you buy this watch. The point of Fitbit is to have a digital fitness book on you at all times. With the Versa 2, It’s a fitness book that does all the writing, tracking, and you’re only requirement is to workout. This is what Fitbit does a great job in. It provides you as much detail as you need on exercises, your workout routines, and your health. I felt the need to check on my stats every day as it’s one of the few devices that can visually show you that you’re improving. A light device, excellent display, and a great motiva
tion
tool. But you need to put it in your head, it’s not a smartwatch. The Apple Watch is a smartwatch. The Galaxy Watch is a smartwatch, and this isn’t. Unlike other smartwatches, once you buy this, you still need to pay more to have the full experience. Fitbit premium “monthly†services provide a great deal of data and programs to help you out, but you need to pay for it. Even with the payment you still need to have your phone around as Alexa currently isn’t useful enough other than asking for the weather. With no built-in GPS tracking, limited text/notification updates, and Spotify restriction, you can see why this isn’t in the same category with Apple and Samsung. This is a fitness tool to help you keep your body in shape. Fitbit does a great job in that, but if you’re looking for a smartwatch then go over to Apple and Samsung. Those are smartwatches, this isn’t.Overall: A virtual fitness book that is a must-have for those who want to get in shape but has too many issues to be called a real smartwatch.Hope I was a help to you.Love,Honest Reviewer .
The Versa 2 brings some modest improvements to the original, both inside and out. Here are some highlights:The screen is now AMOLED, yielding brighter colors and deeper blacks. The glass cover no longer has a bezel, giving it a smooth, low profile and premium look. The optical sensor on the bottom is bigger and doesn’t protrude from the case, making it more comfortable on the wrist. The music and exercise buttons are gone. A mic to command Amazon Alexa is in their place. She can do things like set timers, alarms, reply to texts, give you the weather forecast as well as a FEW other useful things. The processor is faster. Apps load faster and the touch screen is more responsive.Always on display is now supported.Screen brightness is now always adaptive, though you can preset the base brightness. There is a new sleep mode which turns off autowake and notifications during during selected times so your watch doesn’t bother you while you sleep. Do not disturb mode will silence calls and notifications during exercise as well. You can control the Spotify app on your phone from your watch.Fitbit pay is now standard on all Versa 2 editions.*The battery is rated for 5+ days. I’ve been getting a solid 6.5 with always connected, all day sync, 24 hour HR, and at least 3 hours of running. That being said, the Versa 2 isn’t perfect. Fitbit OS is still feature lite, the app store is still rather small and there is still a dearth of useful clock faces. I’d still like to see a screen lock feature, a stride per minute counter and music controls in the exercise app, and a bunch of small. QoL improvements. If you’re like me and mostly want an excellent fitness tracker with a handful of productivity features sprinkled on top, then the Versa 2 is for you, especially if you want a battery life long enough to make use of any of those things. If you care less about fitness and more about controlling your phone from your wrist, then you might want to look at a Galaxy Watch or a Fossil Gen 5, especially if you don’t plan on tracking sleep, as you’ll need to recharge both at the end of the day. If you have an iPhone I don’t know why you’re reading this. .
Another update before I return my watch for the second time: it’s 5:36am and my watch says that I slept 8 hours. I’ll upload the imagine. I went to bed at 11:15 and woke up at 5 am. I can’t believe how off the sleeping app is today. An update: my Sister got a new Fitbit versa for me again and I wore both Apple Watch and Fitbit Watch. The step count was very different. Almost 3 thousand more steps with the Fitbit. It counted extra 800 steps while I was in the resting position. Ones again I contacted the Fitbit asking them why this has happened, they told me Apple and other devices count steps differently. 2856 step difference is huge though. My wife just got her Fitbit Versa 2 yesterday and went swimming with it as it today. The watch initially worked for a few minutes while using the swimming app. After 20 minutes she came out and the watch was totally off. We tried to charge it everything but it seams that it got water fried. It’s supposed to be water resistant up to 50 meters! The pink band was bought separately. Original was purple. Had exactly same problem with last generation Versa. And from googling it seams that we are not alone with this problem. I returned my watch and asked Fitbit if they would give a discount if I buy a new watch they said they will not. Well I guess I’ll just save up extra and get an Apple Watch. Will definitely send all the videos I had made to the bloggers so others won’t make the same mistake. .
I have used Fitbits for many years – all the way back to the days of the first Fitbit Flex. I have upgraded over the years to the Charge, the Charge HR, Charge 2, and now the Versa I and finally the II.LOOKSFitbit Versa 2 is significantly better looking than the Fitbit Versa 1. The screen has less bezel, and doesn’t have that ugly Fitbit logo at the bottom. Even if the screen size isn’t a massive increase, it feels as if it is because of the rounded glass. This gives it a much more premium feel. The screen is also now a AMOLED display which means it will provide an ample amount of brightness and great sharp colours in the great outdoors (compared to the LED model of Versa 1).BUTTONSIf you were a fan of the three button system the old Versa has, then look away. Now you have to rely more on the swipes and taps on the bigger screen to navigate. I rather like this more polished look as it becomes sleeker in my view but not everyone may have this opinion.OSThe OS has some new tweaks like a dashboard which enables you to set night mode, do not disturb, brightness and whether you have a screen that wakes on movement or manually. This is quick useful as in the past it took a few more taps and was more clumsy of a process. Overall i have found over the years the Fitbit sleep tracking and exercise tracking to be fun to use and best in class compared to other trackers. The new sleep score system puts all the information together to give you a singular number to compare you sleep on a daily basis.SPEEDThe Fitbit Versa 2 is much snappier thanks to the upgraded internals. Whilst scrolling through, you can tell the touch response to the screen is much quicker than the prior generation.COMPATIBILITYThe Fitbit Versa 2 has a new charger hub, which means you can’t use the old Versa 1 charging cable. Fitbit loves making new products that aren’t compatible with old chargers. Whilst this is disappointing, at least the Versa 1 straps are backward compatible with Versa 2. So at least you have that. The watch faces are also compatible vs the older Versa, so there is already a massive existing library for you to customise your experience.NEW FEATURESThere aren’t really that many new features compared to the Fitbit Versa 1. The main addition worth mentioning is really just Alexa capabilities. Unfortunately i found out that you need to keep the Fitbit app open in the background. It seems to have no problem picking up what I am saying. I have found Alexa to be a bit of a gimmick as the connection is not always reliable. It often tells me that there is no internet connection or the app isn’t open and therefore Alexa doesn’t work.BATTERY LIFEAccording to the specifications the battery life is supposed to last 5 days. This is 1 more than the old model. After a year with the old Versa, it seemed to decrease in battery life, but this is expected with older devices. I will update in this review once I can put it to the full test. However, Fitbit over the years has lived up to the specifications on every device i have owned (except of course if it is defective). I would expect it to last the full 5 days as advertised. This is far longer than many of Fitbits competitors out there.SHOULD YOU GET IT?If you already own a Versa, and it still works fine, then no – probably not. But if you have a defective or bashed up old on, then you might consider the upgrade. I think g
iven t
he unreliability of Alexa and connectivity being required to access these smart features, it loses 2 stars for me. However, this is hopefully a software update away from being far far better. I will update this review should anything change. If you are a newbie to Fitbit, then I do think this is a good starter to get into the Smartwatch/fitness watch game. It is less smart than some of the competitors out there like Apple Watch and even the Garmins, but it does what it says on the tin, is reliable and at the end of the day a household name ecosystem that many of your friends will be part of.UPDATE: After 6 days of using, the battery is still at 32%. Fitbit has outdone themselves with the battery life. The connectivity problems with Alexa are still intermittent, but i have found it to be slightly more reliable than when i started. I also found the resting heart rate sensor to be quite different from the Versa 1. I will continue to monitor, as it hasn’t changed as much as it usually does in a 1 week period with my Versa 1. .

A gift for my wife who is interested in all the items that this watch can show. I set it up and was surprised at how quick that was to do. After that it was up to her to figure out how to make the other items go on and off and record. She was able to experiment and figure it out in a couple of days. Since we are not kids it is great to see the various health readings which she compared to other equipment we have at home and it was very close or right on. I was surprised and my wife is happy. .
I bought this watch because the agent told me to buy the watch and I would get a refund. I went ahead and purchased and then the agent sent me a picture of payment sent to the wrong email address . agent says the seller already sent refund so what is she going to do. So I am returning because I do not need this product and seller made mistake .
Table is good, the screen is very large full screen, very flexible to use ,the price is very favorable, a lot of functions, the screen is very clear ,the operation is also very simple ,buy back without disappointment. .
I really like this fitness tracker because it is like my own personal nurse. It is so cool because it tells me so many things about my body and my health. The most features I like about it is that it tells me my heart rate and my blood pressure. It is also very comfortable to wear around my wrist. .

After having this watch for several weeks now and reading several poor reviews before I purchased I thought it was time for my personal experience with this watch. So far it has been a very positive experience. I’ve had no trouble whatsoever with it. It keeps great time, the band is very well made and comfortable, the hardware has held up to daily wear and the Indiglo feature works great. I read in some negative reviews that the Indiglo feature stopped working after a few hours to a few days. That has not been my experience. I’ve beat this watch in my everyday work life and everything still works as normal. I also read several reviews that complained about the dark area in the Indiglo feature at 6 o’clock on the dial. That is normal and part of the design of the feature. It in no way interferes with the function of the Indiglo. I also read some negative comments about the strap becoming frayed at the holes and edges. I have a simple fix for that. Take a lighter and singe the holes and the edge of the band and you will not have anymore frayed edges. For the money this is a well made rugged watch. If you are on the fence it is my experience that this is a great value and no worries should be given to the negative comments you read. Besides, if there is a problem Amazon will make it right. Good luck and buy with confidence. .
I really liked the watch when I got it. My old Timex watch had died after years of use so I replaced it with this one. I liked everything about it, easy to read, great glow, perfect size, and nothing shiny. However, on the first day wearing it out, the crown (the knob used to set the time) fell out. Thinking this was just a fluke, I exchanged for a new one. Then the replacement’s strap clasp broke on the third day of wear, even before I shipped the old one back.I’m really disappointed because this is the only watch I can find that has all the features I was looking for. .
Great looking watch and I wish it worked. I like the style, the band, the case, etc. It’s exactly what I was looking for, however .First watch arrived in what appeared to be used condition. While the outside shipping box was in perfect shape, the timex box inside the bigger box looked like it had been opened and the watch was not on the plastic pedestal that comes with the packaging. Upon inspection the watch date and time were already set to eastern standard time; further inspection revealed the illumination feature was broken. I assume this was returned, not inspected, and resent out to me on accident. I contacted amazon, sent the watch back, and they mailed me a new one on a rush order.Watch #2 arrived in perfect shape. It was on the pedestal and it had a little plastic guard on the stem between the crown and the case which was a promising sign! On Day 2 I noticed the date was off by one day so I assumed I set the watch up incorrectly and didn’t have it on the right cycle for am/pm. Fast forward a few days later and now the watch isn’t holding time. Today it is 30 mins slower than the actual time. While I am not sure when this happened I know it happened within the past 24 hours. It really makes me question if these are legitimate Timex watches or if they are knock offs? .
All I was looking for here was an inexpensive watch (cheap enough that I wouldn’t have to feel too bad when I broke it though abuse) that looked reasonable and kept adequately good time. This watch certainly was cheap and does look very reasonable, in fact it exceeded my expectations on this front. The face is legible and attractive, the proportions pleasant, and the backlight really superb. The nylon band is pretty grody-looking after four weeks of working construction with it on my wrist, but you’ll have that. However, the timekeeping is awful. Out of the box it ran a little bit slow, maybe a minute a day. By the end of the second week it was five minutes. Three weeks in, it’s in a death spiral, losing over 20 minutes yesterday. Today it has lost 5 minutes in the two hours I’ve been awake. I checked out the warranty service from Timex and they want $8 as a “service fee,” on top of the postage cost to send them my watch. Timex, I hate to tell you this, but charging your customers for repairs is outside of the normal definition of “warranty.” To me, warranty means an assurance that if there is a problem with the merchandise it will be remedied at the seller’s expense. .

4 – HalfSun Fitness Tracker, Activity Tracker Fitness Watch with Heart Rate Monitor, Blood Pressure Monitor, IP67 Waterproof Smart Watch with Sleep Monitor, Calorie Counter, Pedometer
Top Reviews
I received this watch 10 days ago and I think I can review this item at this time. This is the 3rd fitness watch that I have tried and also the most inexpensive and my bottom line is that the watch represents an excellent value for the price.Pros: Step count, miles walked, heart beat features seem pretty accurate. Battery life is excellent as I charged this when I received it and 10 days later it is still at 40% battery level. Screen is easy to read. The health app is decent to good and does what you need it to do and was easy to configure. I checked my calorie burn vs on line guides and it was pretty close to suggested burn levels for my height/weight. So all the main features that you want do work pretty accurately. Wrist band is comfortable to wear.Cons: The blood pressure feature like others have noted is inaccurate with systolic number. In my case it was usually consistently about 20 points low when compared to my blood pressure cuff. Diastolic number was pretty close. Sleep results were generally accurate when compared to the information that I got from using my CPAP, but of the 9 nights of sleep, 7 matched the CPAP and 2 were just completely inaccurate, not exactly sure why. Finally, connection issues. My phone is a Samsung 8+ and when you walk out of BT range with the watch, your phone does lose connection to the watch, however almost always, when I walk back into range it automatically reconnects. About once a day, it doesn’t and I’ve found all that I need to do is disable the BT for about 4-5 seconds and the watch will reconnect. Sometimes I have to re-select it from available devices. I had this problem with the other two smart watches that I have used and frankly this is much better than those. Overall, for me, this is more a minor inconvenience than any major problem. This issue might be more phone specific rather than a general problem.Summary: For a $35 smart fitness watch, I find it a very good value. .
So this review is overdue because this product is so good, I never want to sit down to write it. I have had it for 3 weeks now. It has motivated me so much more than I expected. I was upset with my current weight. My eating habits were out of control. Other than cleaning and running after my kids, I was sitting most of the day. Even though I have been on the smaller side most of my life, I have never been very active or healthy. I didn’t expect this little watch to change everything, but it has. I never want to just sit down and do nothing anymore. Every day is a challenge to see how many steps I can get. I move as often as I can. I dance while I clean. I march in place while I watch TV. I choose to walk places when possible. I walked 3 miles to the store the other day by choice. I had set my goal at 10k steps and thought it would be a challenge. I have actually hit over 20k steps a few days.Since I was moving so much, I started losing a little weight. This inspired me to fix my eating habits as well. Three weeks after I got this watch, I have lost 10.5lbs which is over 10% of my body weight! I am working out every single day. I feel amazing and powerful. So let’s get to the watch itself. It looks nice. I love the large screen. I have sensitive skin, and it has caused me no issues. The step tracker is pretty accurate. Like most activity trackers, it counts your arm swings and not your steps. So if you are pushing a shopping cart, you might not get your steps counted. The heart rate monitor seems accurate as well. I don’t really use the blood pressure monitor, so I am not sure how accurate it is. I will say that it has been reading around the number I got at the doctor a few days ago.I use the sport mode frequently. I love to see how many calories I am burning during activity. It does not allow you to tell it what exercise you are doing which would help the calorie count be more accurate. The sleep mode is the only thing about this watch that is a bust. It is beyond inaccurate. It always says I got much more sleep than I did. I wake up several times a night between the dog, kids, needing to get a drink of water, etc. It will say I was sleeping, but at the same time it shows me walking around during that same time. But I don’t use it for the sleep monitor. The battery life could be better. Maybe I run it down faster on the sports mode. I get about half a week out of it. I try to charge it at night since I don’t need to see my sleep. The charge is a little tricky. Twice I have left it to charge only to realize I didn’t have it connected well. That is the only reason I am sitting down working on this review right now. I didn’t actually charge it last night.Overall, this a great product for the price. It looks nice. It is accurate enough. It is waterproof. It even lets you track your periods. It has made a huge improvement in my health. .
So far my husband is quite happy with this fitness tracker. He did not want it for the phone connectivity. So, he has not set that part up yet. He is VERY happy with all the other functions of this Smart Watch/Fitness Tracker. It does everything he wants it to do and with pretty good accuracy. We checked the step counter against the counter on his phone and they were within 45 steps of each other. Most impressive was the fact the BP measure on the watch measured within 3 points of our BP cuff. We thought that was pretty dang good for a watch monitor. The display on the watch is large, clear and easy to read. It is easy to toggle between screens. Even for big man fingers. The watch is comfortable to wear and the strap holds it securely. Instructions were fairly simple and straight forward. Packaging is nice for gift giving. .
Me llegó en tiempo, apenas lo probé anoche, me parece una buena Relación Precio – Calidad, en realidad es un reloj Sencillo, pero cumple lo que ofrece, lo que si es inexcacto es la toma de presión .

5 – Casio Men’s DB360-1AV Digital Databank Watch

I had the watch for 2 years and in that time, I had to change the battery twice, so not really 10 year battery life. The last time I changed the battery, it loosened one of the buttons which fell off. I then ordered another watch just like it because I like it. Changing the battery isn’t obvious. After you take the screws off the back, there is a brass clip over the top of the battery with no way to remove it. What you need to do is remove the whole module, then release the 4 silver clips around the edges which will allow you to completely remove the plastic top and the clip holding the battery, you can then replace the battery and reassemble. .
One of the few still in production Databank watches out in the market today, not huge data capacity, only 30, but with cellphones more powerful than the original PCs this is more of a back up than a primary means of data for those who want to store a few numbers in it just in case your Cell runs out of batt at a very critical moment when you need to call someone and you can’t remember their number, or just to store some important numbers like your passport number, drivers license number, etc, etc; It maybe more of a novelty than a necessity in this day and age to own one of these Databank watches, but I think they’re still kind of cool (In a nerdy kind of way 😉😄) .
The battery dies within 2 years. Someone should sue the company for false advertisement about 10 year battery and getting away with it. .
This is the third Casio watch I have owned featuring this design. The first two watches worked well until the plastic wrist strap cracked and broke. I chose this Casio for the metal wrist band.Good points: It tells the time really well along with the date and it does not cost a fortune.Bad points: The alarm is virtually inaudible. If I hold the watch near my ear I can hear it but, at three feet away, it is inaudible. The first Casio I owned had a clear alarm that was easy to notice. The second Casio was much quieter and not so easy to notice. This third Casio is virtually useless regarding the use of the alarms. I wish that Watchtronics, the company that sells the watch for Amazon, would send me a fully working replacement watch. I feel strongly that I did not get my money’s worth. The wrist strap has to be closed carefully. Apparently I did not do this on one occasion and while cleaning the bathroom the watch slipped off my wrist and into the toilet. I dried the watch and it continues to tell the time flawlessly. It passed the ‘Toilet Test’.When I received the Casio it fit my wrist perfectly. Adjusting the wristband for a smaller or larger wrist may be a problem. I could not find directions on how to do this. It may not be obvious to those lacking a handyman’s talent. .

This is the watch I wanted when I bought the Casio G-shock that dissolved upon exposure to ordinary bug spray. I need to know the time regardless of ambient lighting conditions and this Timex watch performs beautifully. One can spend ten times the cost of this Timex on a Luminox to perform the same task. The difference is that with the Luminox no button need be pressed to tell time in the dark owing to radioactive tritium that is guaranteed to glow continuously for 25 years (two half-life’s of tritium). This feature may be mission-critical and therefore justify the expense. For my purposes, however, this Timex Indiglo watch meets my needs at a fraction of the cost, but at the expense of having to press a button once to read time in the dark.If you are familiar with those plug-in night lights with a faint blue glow, then you are familiar with the ‘Indiglo’ illumination technology used in this watch. The analog hour and minute hands DO NOT glow in the dark. Rather, when the background is illuminated, the SHADOW CAST by the hour and minute hands is what allows time to be read as easily in the dark as in full sunlight. This Timex is really two independent watches in one: an analog watch set by ‘old-school’ pull-out post, and a digital watch with all the day/date/alarm bells and whistles. World time is not supported (as in a Casio), but you do get two time zones against which to set alarms. I also like the 40mm size of this watch: it actually fits my wrist (I am an average size male mesomorph and a not-obese vegan). Most Men’s watch diameters seem to have kept apace with mens’ waist diameters, and if one has a fat wrist, a larger diameter watch may make sense. Good luck with that.Unexpected was a lack of instructions on how to use the daggone thing! I had to fiddle around on the interwebs to get a pdf copy from Timex tech support (fine support, no complaints). Live chat at [email protected] dot com. But, because I have lots of time on my hands – and because I don’t want to fiddle with converting a pdf document to images that may be uploaded into this review – I will post some verbiage that will at least get one started using this very nice watch:1) Place the counter-clockwise ONLY movable bezel white triangle at the 12:00 position2) Now, at the 10-minute mark is ‘ALARM’ button, 20-minute mark is ‘SET’ button, 40-minute mark is ‘MODE’ button, and at the 50-minute mark is ‘INDIGLO’ button.3) Set the time as follows: ANALOG: At the 15-minute mark, pull out post when the second hand hits 12:00. Adjust knob to set time. Push post in securely and the time will begin incrementing. DIGITAL: Press ‘MODE’ to display digital time. Press and hold ‘SET’ until seconds are flashing. Press ‘ALARM’ to zero seconds. Press ‘MODE’ to select ‘hours’ digits. Press ‘ALARM’ to advance the hours. Press ‘SET’ to set hours. Repeat ALARM’/’SET’ to set minutes, 12/24 hr display mode.4) To read time in the dark, Press ‘INDIGLO’ once. To set NIGHT-MODE, press and hold ‘INDIGLO’ until beep/flash. Now, EVERY BUTTON will provide backlight illumination IN ADDITION TO its otherwise function. NIGHT-MODE lasts several hours and then reverts back to single use.I don’t have to hope this is useful I know it is. Enjoy your nice new watch! .
Rugged, lightweight and reliable watch! Very contrasted and legible watch face with thick white hands and large contrasted LCD screen. The LCD can display day/date permanently (always accurate, unlike analog day/date watches that miss the date every other month), another time (independent from the analog watch) or a second time zone. The watch face has full illumination with indiglo, including the LCD! (Most Casios don’t offer illumination on both LCD and analog at the same time)The rotating Bezel is unidirectional and has very satisfying clicks for every second.Measuring 41mm in diameter (bezel) with a 20mm watch band width, the watch is just the right size to fit perfectly in average wrists. Not too small and not bulky (like most outdoor watches unfortunately). It pairs very well with the Suunto compass wrist band attachment (sold separately on Amazon, see pictures). In conclusion, an amazing reliable watch for all adventures! .
I want to love this watch so much. It looks great, feels well made, it’s got a great band, just the functions I’m looking for. I was so pleased when I first put it on .the perfect watch. And then I sat at my computer to work, AC on in the background, the clicking of the keyboard, the hum of my computer fan .and over it all, I can still hear the watch ticking!I’ve had analog watches all my life, but this has the loudest ‘tick’ movement I have ever heard in a watch. It’s distracting at work, and I’d have to put it in another room while I sleep. Argh! The frustration.Back to the drawing board . .
Love it so far. Came with instructions, able to set time/date quickly. It says 41mm but appears a touch wider than that. I was rather surprised at how thick it is, but not a deal breaker by any means. So this modestly priced watch looks great, keeps good time was delivered promptly with the Timex name and reputation behind it. No good reason to keep looking, buy this watch today. .

The dial on this watch is super legible. The seconds hand does bot line up with the minute markers, but this is a difficult thing to do in a quartz movement. The lume is decent, it’s brighter and lasts longer on the hands. The numbers also have lume, but bot as bright and long lasting. I bought the gunmetal color case and i can tell you it’s black and not the silver gray depicted in the pictures. The band is very chincy for the price of this watch. It’s velcro. Luckily it cimes off, but not easily. In taking off the band with my springbar tool i scratched the inside lugs to reveal that this case is indeed made of brass as listed. I put a magnet to it to confirm. This watch should weather well as the black coating wears off to reveal the brass at wear points. I’m hoping thatvtimex is using the same batteries as some of the other major manufacturers to give this watch longevity. .
Appears to be well made. The leather band seemed to be good quality too, but I always put a slip through watch band I can quickly remove to wash with a little soap and water. I have found leather gets worn out quickly when exposed to the elements outdoors. This watch replaces a much higher dollar watch that finally gave up the ghost. I really like this Timex better than my old watch. I am very active outdoors and I appreciate it’s rugged water resistance. I am getting older and my eyes are not what they used to be. I can see the large numbers very easily at a quick glance and can even see the smaller military or 24 hour numbers very easily. A BIG improvement over my previous watches. The contrast between the lighter color digits and hands against the dark background helps a great deal. Other than the numbers, hands and date, it is a black out body. Makes a sharp looking watch. It is also easy to tell time in the dark. Easy to read in the dark but not bright enough to draw attention. This is the first solar watch I have had and since I have only been wearing it for a short time, I can’t speak to how the power holds up for the long haul. I just know I got tired of replacing batteries on my older watches and hope this is a solution. Appears to be a great watch for the money! .
This is noticeably quieter than a timex expedition. I’ve always loved timex value for money, but hated that I could hear the watches across my bedroom at night.Even in a low noise environment, the ticking is not perceptible unless you’re holding it near your ear. Sure, it’s not as quiet as my 80s quartz Seamaster, but few things are. This is a great upgrade over the vanilla expeditions. .
The specific version that I bought is model TW4B187009J, which has a gunmetal-colored case, blue face, and gray cloth band.Pros:- Uncluttered, easy-to-read face- Subtle branding text on face- 40mm isn’t too large or small — not at all bulky- Metal case- Date is set moving the crown in either direction- Comfortable, well made cloth band that’s free of gaudy branding text seen on other Times watch bands- Luminous glow on hands and numbers lasts two or three hours- Good value (but watch the price because it changes)Cons:- Second hand doesn’t line up with tick marks- No Indiglo because of solar power .

I ordered this watch, because I wanted something classy, yet simple and easy to read. This is a man’s watch, but I wanted something a little bigger that a woman’s, which is why I ordered it. It’s a really nice watch. The shiny gold tone makes the watch a bit more dressy. And, the band can be adjusted to fit your wrist size. A small tool is included to remove or add links. I did end up returning the watch, only because it was just a little too big for my liking. That is just my personal reason. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the watch itself. .
Good stainless steel watch with Indiglo. However the metal watchband is very cheap and small. I have an average sized wrist and the band wouldn’t stretch over my hand. The watchband actually broke and came apart before I could wear the watch for the first time. I’m keeping the watch. Stainless steel case and bezel plus good old Timex quality. But if you buy this watch then be prepared to buy a separate, better quality watchband. It seems that watchbands are not their forte’. .
I like the way this watch fits, and how easy it is to see. the ability to see it in the dark is a great feature, and the band that is very easy to adjust.I highly recommend this watch .
Good looking watch but it just doesn’t keep time. Very disappointed for a Timex. I wouldn’t spend the money on it. .

I’m now on my second AW80-1AV watch. The first one may have lasted about ten years. I had to replace the band a couple times. The watchface got scuffed from me banging it into walls (am I the only person who does that?). Also, the metallic finish on the watch itself started to wear off revealing the grey plastic the body is made out of. Not bad for about ten years, I guess. Operation of the watch is somewhat complicated. I have to consult the user manual to change the analog time on it when we go from daylight savings to standard and back.I’m including a photo showing the new watch and the old one. .
I love the features this watch offers. The main thing I like about it is the fact that that I can push a button and the day and date stay on the screen until I decide to change it back manually which I don’t do since the analog feature is for viewing the time and then digits are fairly easy to see. Analog watches have always been and will remain my preference in wristwatches, but I never take the time to change the analog date. This watch is a great compromise. What I don’t like about this watch is the resin band. I’d much prefer a sturdy nylon or canvas band and the crystal is actually plastic I think and since it’s dome shaped it scratches rather easily, but this is a very inexpensive watch with great features I’d also like a second sweep hand as well, but overall I’m very pleased with this purchase. The illumination feature is also not that great either especially if you’re used to indiglo watches, but it does the job. The watch also has other features such as the telememo etc., but I don’t use those features so I can’t comment or complain about them 🙂 when this watch bites the dust I’ll likely search for a version of it offering a genuine crystal, second sweep hand and better wrist band and would gladly pay for those extra features. .
—General Pros:••Very lightweight. Like a Swatch, it weighs almost nothing, so it’s comfortable.••The price: $20ish can’t be beat for a fun multi-function gadget like this.••It’s a Casio. If you’ve never owned one, these are remarkable watches & have been since the ‘80s. Of the hundreds of watch models that have been released by Casio over the last five decades, few are less than amazing in their durability and features.—Specific Pros:••The lume on the hands is pretty good, better than many other Casios with hands. Add to that the light, and this can be read in all dark environments, indoor & out.••Unique design. Not many watches look like this, with a pleasing combo of black, silver, white & red. (I think it might be a slight design ripoff of the Victorinox Robert Neville (Will Smith) wears in ‘I Am Legend,’ but who cares).••Hourly chime & alarm are quite loud.••Personally, I like to use the hands only for the time, and I keep the digital display on the day/date. It’s possible to keep the digital portion on any of the other functions (if, for example, you like to keep it on chrono all the time you can keep it there — digital part doesn’t automatically revert to time function).—Cons:••Difficult to set the analog hands, especially if you need to turn the time back — you must advance the hands forward until you reach the desired time. Fortunately, this really happens in fall only. In spring, you just advance hands one hour, which is easy.••Phone numbers take a while to set and then aren’t very easy to read (especially if you’re older). Very small display that scrolls close to the top of the digital display, almost cutting off the top of the letters and numbers. If you’re interested in this watch for its Databank feature, you’d be better off getting another Casio Databank model with a larger digital display. My other complaint about this and all current Casio Databanks is that you can enter eight letters followed by about 12 to 15 (not sure which) numbers. You cannot mix letters with numbers. This makes it useful for storing phone numbers only, or anything worse that’s numerical only. Not useful for any password storage — as I said, can’t mix letters, numbers & special characters. That would be a great feature, since most PWs now require such a combo. But I guess this would be a tall order for a watch like this, since then Casio would have to allow caps & lowercase as well. I have one phone number stored in it, for kicks. I suppose you could also just program in something fun like “POOPY888.†.
I have had this watch for about two months now. I love it’s slim profile and easy to read analog numbers. The digital readout is small but that was expected. Still I was hoping it would be easier to see/read the timer and stopwatch while running. What I really don’t like is how the light is a side LED not a back light. It’s very hard to read anything on the watch with only the light so if you would use this a lot in the dark- don’t get this one.I didn’t think it was too complicated to set the time and other features (but I did have to reference the instructions). You can store up to 30 names and phone numbers in the watch. This would have been pretty cool 15 years ago; it’s completely useless now. Also, all the world times are pretty useless too. Even if you are a frequent global traveler I don’t think it’s necessary. Yes, of course you can just ignore these features but it just makes more screens for you to scroll through to get to the features you want. .

Good watch in all respects but one and it’s a killer – the product description says this watch has a mineral glass window, but it’s actually very easily scratched acrylic. The window surface is slightly domed above the bezel so every contact with any solid surface is guaranteed to scratch it. I’ve had it for less than two weeks and it’s already getting difficult to read the display. .
So I bought one of these Casio watches around 15 years ago at a Walgreens or similar store. I can’t even remember it was so long ago. I think I changed the band once or twice and changed the battery once when the display got dim. Eventually, I just took to keeping the watch without a band in my pocket. It just never gave up and was a familiar comfort. So I was pretty bummed when I realized I had lost it after all those years. The next best thing to finding my lost watch was realizing that Casio still makes the same piece so here’s to another 15 years and one of the best small investments I’ve ever made. I’m curious about how many of these little buggers they must have sold so far. It’s a great little watch even if i do have to adjust it twice a year for daylight savings. .
COMPLETELY satisfied with this watch. Does everything I need it to do, which is to tell time and so much more. The 24/hr time display is awesome (which is the main reason I bought it) and it can be switched from 12 to 24/hr time with a press of a button. The only downsides I would give this bad boy is the color on the band, that keeps the watch secure, loses it’s color.BUT does NOT effect performance of the watch itself one bit.And the reset button for “stopwatch” mode is the light button. Which I find kinda lame and can waste battery life for no reason. (Even though it’s really no big deal and only waste battery life if you use it a lot, which I don’t) I just wish it had its own reset button, aside from the light button. But still 5 STARS! :DFor $20, best watch I’ve ever owned. And I have a $200 fossil watch, that I don’t use anymore because of this, awesome ass watch 🙂 .
Nice looking watch. I’m knocking off a star because the directions for setting it are not accurate and they are printed so small you need a magnifying glass to read them. It’s a little frustrating to set, go to YT and watch the video. One more thing, if you have thinner wrists, the punched leather with the holes ends before you can get the pin from the buckle in it. I punched another hole as far up as possible and it’s still a bit loose. I like the watch, the style is good and it’s easy to read with the backlight .just those two twitchy things are annoying. Update 7 March 2020- Time change tonight. I had another frustrating ordeal with resetting this watch. Finally got it to the correct time but something along the way set the hourly chime to go off. I’ve tried to find a video for this particular watch as the instructions stink and can’t find it. This will drive me nuts. I took another star off. The band is too big as originally stated and setting it without messing up the other settings is difficult. I won’t buy another one with just two buttons, it’s an exercise in frustration. .

Okay guys this is probably the most unique and best watch I’ve ever owned! It is huge and heavy and a conversation starter to say the least. You will see in the picture this size difference in my large face Fossil watch I have it dwarfs it! I changed the wristband to the Cyberdyer multi tool bracelet and it looks AMAZING! By far one of the best purchases I have made recently! This looks like a thousand dollar watch and it costs less than $75 total! .
Came in two days. Get a lot of compliments when I wear this watch. It doesn’t look cheap at all. No complaints. Compass works great! Metal is good. Not cheap looking. Very nice.I wear it everyday. And people are always telling me how awesome it is. Moms at my church asking where I got it so they can buy their teens one too.Pictures don’t do it any justice. .
I find it very hard to imagine how anyone could not like this watch. Howver; as the saying goes, to each his own. This is a very well constructed watch, at an unbelievable low price. I’m a man, with average sized wrists and the watch fits me perfect. The weight is just right, the look and styling couldnt be any better. And under $20 .not a hard thing to figure out. .
A total stsndout! I read the reviews. I always do and have probably avoided being disappointed.I bought this watch. I expected a watch with a large mrtal face it is. I expected a nice band, it is very nice. I expected to be able to set the time, and did. It is controlled like every watch wherein the stems pull out and set the time, etc. I didn’t need instructions. I am looking forwsrd to wearing it to our favirite Crab House. I wear a nice cap occasionally, eith USAF on a side. Several men have said, thanks for your service. A few times had nice conversations with other veterans. I suspect my cap seen eith this LARGE FACE watch with two sidebars, eill elicit mote comments. It is fun to chat with guys thst otherwuse go through life wanting to chst about something other than politics for at keast two hours. So far every guy has felt ss I do. A hint. . I voted for Kennedy. I plan on getting another for my best friend for his birthday. A better chouce than a tie or socks. Thanks for creating s nice watch that is priced so reasona and so handsome. .

On behalf of my father, I thank you, Timex. He passed in April of 2015 wearing this watch I bought him for Christmas. The man always said that there was no other watch that would stay running on his wrist. He was convinced he had been shocked too many times as an engineer, or had too much iron in is blood, or that he was in some way magnetic. He was 61, and never was there a time he didn’t have this watch, this model, this color, on his wrist all the time. He must have gone through 40 or more. One went over Niagra Falls; one was left in Vegas; one was left with airport security, and countless others succumbed to years of rigorous use, but he never wore anything else. There were even times when he would be without one until he found it at a local store (pre-internet), and in those times he just wouldn’t wear anything. Even now, he rests with this watch by his side.I cannot thank you enough for making a product that matched his personality so well. .
I like to look like a 1970’s coke dealer so I wear this watch at all times along with other gaudy jewelry. This is my fav watch ever. I feel because I was drunk and broke my first one. I haven’t had a drink since then because I was so upset that my drinking broke my favorite watch. This watch is one of the many reasons that I quit drinking.I love this watch. I get compliments and funny looks for wearing it all the time. That’s an old-school watch!Yeah! I gotz no time to waste, places to go, people to see. I need a beep every hour on the hour, a light, and an alarm so that I wake-up in time for work. This isn’t just a watch –it’s a lifestyle!Great watch. Getchyouone. .
This watch is awesome and makes me feel like it’s 1992 again and I am a fake rich 13 year old. Someone said it’s hard to set. You hold the set button until the numbers flash then you hit one of the other buttons to change them, like every other digital clock ever. Someone said it’s made of plastic, no, it’s made out of cheap aluminum which is exactly what you get for $26. Someone said it’s small, and I can see that because I have little wimpy wrists. The indiglo works awesome, just like a new feature in 1992 should. I love this watch. .
I have purchased three of these watches for my husband as he loves wearing them for a casual work watch. They are easy to read, durable, and he prefers a stretch, expansion band. One wore out, finally, after quite a few years so he’s wearing the second one now. I picked up the third on sale in case they decide to discontinue making them. The watch he’s currently wearing accidentally went through a wash cycle recently. I figured that it would be DOA when I opened the washer door and was thinking to myself how fortunate it was that I’d purchased the third one. Amazingly, the watch was, and is, still working. . . and it’s shiny and clean too! If that isn’t a testimony to Timex’s durability, I don’t know what is!I also feel that it’s quite reasonably priced for a nice looking, digital watch. I highly recommend it! .

I was really excited about this watch until I bumped into something harder than plastic. I have used a Casio Tough Solar for years now as an everyday work watch. Nothing special, but inexpensive, durable & I don’t have to change a battery. I was hoping this would be a minor upgrade since it costs almost twice as much. I do think it looks better & is easier to read at night. My first night at work I just casually bumped my wrist against a smooth fence post &, oh well, the face is now permanently marred. If you are careful with this watch you may be fine, but the watch face is raised above the rest of the dial (as opposed to inset on the Tough Solar) so the cheap plastic has no protection from everyday wear & tear. .
Just received watch today, last one in stock. So, I debated whether or not I wanted the last one in stock, I Should have chosen no.Why oh why would anyone ship a watch in a timex box in a bubble pouch??? As you can see from photos the box was pretty badly miss-shaped when I took it out of bubble pouch. I didn’t notice until I got outside the face of watch was scratched due to packaging. It had to have been repeatedly rubbing in truck during delivery.Although I love the way the watch looks, not happy with the shipping damage.Since it’s acrylic I will try and buff it out and decided to keep watch as I needed a new one.I researched watches for 2 months before deciding on this ‘work’ watch. In the end it came down to what looked best to me. I should have skipped it based on reviews with an acrylic face. Especially since the bevel is non-existent, it sits more than a 1/16 above watch body. No telling what it will look like with normal wear and tear on it. Had I seen it in person I probably wouldn’t have bought it for this reason alone, regardless of it being glass or acrylic. My lesson learned. Purchases such as a watch is an in-person deal.My last $15 timex expedition lasted over 3yrs. I went solar because battery was only issue with old timex watch.I may update this later on but right now I’m not very happy with my purchase. Especially since I wasn’t even allowed my own pain of giving it its first scratch. I feel like I paid for a used watch .
Great value for a low cost field watch.I was looking for a field style watch that wouldn’t break the bank, and this watch fit the bill. In my opinion it holds its own looks wise against any field watch in the sub $100 price range. It’s not a Bertucci or a Seiko but at this price range it’s a great value. It wears quite nicely, although the strap is a bit stiff out of the box as is common with many heavy duty strap style bands. I will say though, I don’t find it uncomfortable to wear at all. I suspect that it will loosen up in time as it gets broken in and may well outlast the watch itself. The construction appears good and uses the same case back style as my 2010 905 (diver styled) Expedition which has never leaked and still runs great with a new battery. It is made of resin, and the crystal is acrylic so will be prone to scuffs and scratches, but with a bit of care it should be a great and (hopefully) long lasting addition to my collection. The addition of solar hopefully will stretch out the battery life to 10 years+ if my Eco-Drive Citizen’s battery life is any indication. It is very legible, and the lume on the hands (hr min & sec) is passable. Sadly they did not choose to lume any of the face markings. This is an oversight that is unfortunate since it lacks Indiglo or other light source.Overall I am very happy with my purchase. .
Great looking watch. Solar feature is awesome. Nice and light. Problem is that’s because it is mostly plastic. And not the durable kind. Biggest disappointment is the ‘crystal’ is plexiglass. Only worn for 1 day and the plexi is already scratched. As i said, great look but not durable at all. .

Does not work. Runs for a short while and then quits. I called Timex customer service number but after waiting for forty minutes for someone to speak to, I hung up. Not at all satisfied with this particular item. .
Very simple(forget a watch with a date, has to be reset every month)Very light weight.(lighter, thinner than my older model)Totally reliable.Used when sleeping at night and campingMy old Timex finally wore out after many years. Then, instead for a year I tried using my iPhone to tell the time in the dark.OK, but battery power is a problem while camping. At night, the Timex is much simpler and better than fiddling with a “smart†phone that needs to conserve battery power. With this new model there is a simple projection to release the wrist bands. The Timex keeps on ticking (hardly audible tick, although I am hard of hearing. Thanks John Cameron Swayze. .
Like the product. Definitely gets the job done, but after about a month and after purchasing other watches to build a solid watch collection, it starts to pale in comparison. If you are one who just wants one watch to wear everyday, you can’t beat this one. But if it will be in a rotation of watches, you may find it somewhat of a bland choice. .
I wear it on weekends and weekdays some times. Easy to read day and good at night thanks to Indiglo. Ticking noise I only notice once in a while but can see how some may be annoyed or surprised the little watch makes such a sound. Flat design and decent strap which supports my larger than average male wrist. Wrist size 8.75 – 9 and there is still a free hole without being tight on my wrist. No complaints on a straight forward time piece with full face Indiglo. .

Never a big fan of fancy/complicate watches – stick to simple and classic design, the basic nature of a time keeping piece. This Lacoste meets my taste exactly, with the crocodile logo that I love sits at 3 o’clock position without brand name, perfect – no more no less. The black dial forms a good contrast with the silver edge, both hour hand and minute hand; the orange second hand just adds the sport dynamic brought by Lacoste.Accuracy is good enough for a typical quartz movement. I let it run for about a month and don’t see significant variance from my iPhone clock.I got it with price at $77 before tax, a fair deal to me though I wish it could have dropped another $20ðŸ˜The only thing I wish for is a smaller dial. It is a 42mm diameter, somewhat a standard in a large-dial-trend era. It appears a bit big on my wrist. 38/40mm would be ideal for me. .

Always wanted a calculator watch. Saw how cheap they actually were so I got it from the original company that brought us it first. Easy to use, keeps time the best of all my watches some of which are in the 500$ range. The down side is that the case is plastic, always paranoid I might smash it while using the buttons. I love the adjustable bracelet, but it is a real hair puller and feels tinny. Will shave the side of my wrist over the course of a days wear. Would recommend a leather strap version over the metal bracelet. .
I own a drawer full of these things! They’re my hallmark People identify me by my calculator watch. It will be one of the only things I’ll be wearing in my casket. .
As an 80’s kid, I am not a fan of these ‘retro’ calaculator watches, but my son is! He has the standard black one, but asked for a ‘gold watch’ for his birthday- this was PERFECT! It functions exactly like the standard Casio (the ONLY calculator watch to have!) but ‘dressy’. The gold has not rubbed off (he wears it frequently) and the band is adjustable. Even though I rolled my eyes, it’s a great watch! .
Gold painted plastic! Paint wears off!Otherwise very nice .

This watch caught my attention because it featured a lap memory function. I have been looking for quite a while for a watch that could compete with the Time Ironman. As a running coach I like all of my athletes to have access to watches I’m training and am looking to be as frugal as possible with the teams money. When my watch arrived I was excited to workout with it and see what it could do. The operating system was different, but not too difficult. Timex has a better system, but it seemed manageable. The biggest difficulty was the front facing buttons we’re very difficult to trigger. They only work when pressed very firmly in a particular part of the sizeable area. After completing that workout I tried simply using it as a stopwatch at a race, but had similar issues getting the buttons to recognize a press. This isn’t a terrible watch, but is not very user friendly for the features it has. .
I lose my head when I forget my watch at home before work because I use the timer everyday. Its convenient and easy to use, especially when timing my swimmers. I also use the count-down-timer quite frequently, mostly for timing when my tea is done steeping. I’m a woman and I have a really small wrist (6 circumference) and its not overwhelming like some full sized watches, I do wear it on the first clasp hole though. .
Fantastic watch that’s super easy to set the time & 10 Year battery = ultra convenient. This is a very clean-line design watch. It’s not enormous so it’s going to look good for anyone. What’s really cool about it though, is when you have to set the time, or change things. It has buttons to go up OR down, so you’re not having to wheel through all 12 or 24 hours to set it back or forward. SO convenient. No other watch we found does this. Then, it has a 10 year battery. Of course, we just bought this, but how about in 2029? It should still be going. Not having to worry about the battery for 10 whole years is pretty cool. The display is great, easy to read. You’ve got the year, day of week, date, time and seconds. It’s actually really nice to have the day of week, (something you don’t miss till you get some lame watch that doesn’t have it) The instruction manual is really nice too, makes it easy to use. We had it set up within 3 minutes of opening it. The band feels light weight, but seems sturdy enough so far. A great watch who’s price is right here at Amazon. Very happy with the purchase. .
This is a woman’s size watch–and fits perfectly (not a bigger men’s size–item title is wrong!). It comes with a THICK little user’s guide–it’s a bit complicated to work the many functions. But that’s not unusual with this kind of watch. And the instructions are fairly clear to understand. What I particularly like: 5 programmable alarms, and a back light–altho it only stays lit for a very short time. Alarm beep isn’t super loud and obnoxious, and stops beeping after several beeps–you don’t have to press a button to stop it. And then the alarms stay set so they ring everyday–which is what I wanted. The band is completely adjustable (and has one of those little thingies to hold the excess tail in place) and altho rubber/plastic, is quite comfortable. I had to read through A LOT of item descriptions to find what I really wanted–and this is it!!! .

I have a smaller wrist but I really wanted to get a G shock added to my collection of watches. I gotta tell you it was worth it. The size is something you kinda have to get used to though. And yes, it takes some time for you to be able to tell time right away because the face is not as clear and plain. But come on, there is handles right there just like in any other watch. And In about a week I had no problem with it.Plus you get all nice features especially the ability to say “pffff it’s ok” when you accidentally bump into something and you don’t have to worry about scratches and stuff like that. Swimming, shower – no problem. And it actually looks good, shiny parts and matte black go good together. So if you want an everyday watch – go for it. .
My husband is a huge fan of Gshock,Watch is not shiny, has matt finish. Not too big, not too smallTolreate sea water and high underwater pressure.Cheapest price I’ve seen so far for this particular model. .
Instructions provided are not very helpful in setting up the watch, very difficult to interpret. If you go to YouTube you’ll find a very good video demonstration on how to set up the watch and its various functions. Now that I’ve viewed this video I’m delighted with the watch. .
I love this watch! Not only does it look good but you can wear it with mostly all clothing except in my opinion formal wear, but even that, depending on what you are wearing you may be able to make it work :)The watch is very durable, bumped into the walls with it sometimes and not a single mark on the watch. The plastic is not cheap! Its very durable and at the same time has a softness to it where it doesn’t irritate your wrist. The Watch sits high on your wrist and looks great! Got a few compliments already and have only been wearing it for a few weeks. Its definitely not a cheap looking watch by any means, i had a few friends guess and estimated it around $250-$300. I love this watch and it looks great! Will most likely buy another one of the same type but a different color scheme.Hope this review helps all the doubters who want to buy this watch but are still wondering and researching it, GO FOR IT! You wont regret it and im sure you’ll love it just as i do 🙂 .

Amazon’s product page for this shows a photo of a black watchband and a photo of a grey watchband. The grey photo says it’s grey. The black photo has no text, and the overall product description says it’s black. However, the two I received were grey. Buyer beware. .
I needed a replacement band for my mid 1990s Casio DBC-30 (Telememo Calculator watch), and I’m happy to report that I believe this is exactly the same as the original band! It is not black (as the description indicates) but rather a dark gray color, that matches the main body of the watch (see photo). .
It fits properly .
Great arrived when promised. Only wish it would have come with new pins had to use the old ones very old ones .

It’s an easy to read watch, and only thing I find lacking is atomic time sync. Nice green accents on the model I went with. The band is above average for stock band (actually quite comfortable, especially compared to cheaper models). Quite the looker. .

21 – Dickies Men’s Slim Straight Five-Pocket Jean
Top Reviews
These are rather fashionable, but inexpensive slim fit jeans. Dickie’s really surpassed my expectations. To make the most of these, you really need to know how how slim fit jeans fit. First, keep in mind that the thigh and waist area will be wide near the “bottom/butt” but tapered as they gone further down and then significantly tapered as you get closer to the knee. These are not skinny jeans, but a tapered or tailored slim fit. If you’re insecure about how your thighs, bottom or legs look, don’t buy them. In addition, because of the tapered style, you MAY decide that it’s best to get them slightly longer in length than your other pants and jeans. Because they will grab at your thighs a bit, this will give the appearance of a reduced length. It also worth noting that Dickie’s slim fit jeans are a little roomier than their pants by the same name. It’s a slightly touchy subject, but if you get the wrong size your “male parts” will show, so keep that in mind. In fact, when seated, your “male parts” will leave an impression, even if you go up a size or two. These are not jeans for people who sit around with their legs spread like an eagle. lolWith all that out of the way, here are my thoughts on quality and appearance. These will look as good or better than any other slim fit pants or jeans that you’ve bought from higher end brands. It’s a little mind boggling since those other brands will start at $60 and increase in price quickly. They are just as tough as any other Dickie’s product, so the stitching, color, feel to skin is the same. Comfortable and reliable. There’s some subtle, but cool stitching near the pockets on the thigh stitching that give that premium look in a low-key way. You can tell they really wanted to appeal to people who are spending much more on jeans. After washing, I hang dry and I find they remain pliable and soft to touch, without fabric softener. While they are wet, you can pull out the major wrinkles and once dry, you can quickly (4 min or less) iron or steam them before wearing.I am 6’1″ and weigh 190lbs. I have a relatively athletic build and bought a 36×34. I do wear them with ironed cuffs, because I would normally buy 36×32 or even 35×32. When I’m sitting, they stretch, but they do completely envelope my thighs and look a little tight. But again, they are super comfortable, even in this position.Last, these are Dickie’s jeans, so they are not like a pair of khaki’s. The material is closer to jean material, although it is softer and lighter. I enjoy wearing them chukka or brogue boots. Very smart looking in a casual work environment. If you’re a foreman or office worker in a labor setting, you’ll downright sharp. If you’re comfortable estimating the best sizing, I’d say pull the trigger and order a pair. You could save yourself $30-50 depending on what brand you already wear. And yes – these look good enough that your teens and middle-schoolers will wear them with pride. .
I love these jeans. I feel like I’ve unlocked newfound dad energy within me while wearing these with some ASICS and a Casio calculator watch. That’s not even ironic, these jeans just make me feel great. .
Alright if you’re a bigger gent looking for some jeans you have stumbled across a good find. My waist is 42-44 and my legs are probably 28. I got the 44×30 because I didnt want the waist too tight and naturally the legs go well past my toes. The jeans themselves ran me $35 and I’ll get them tailored for another $30. So a perfect fitting pair of jeans for $65. Hard to beat that when you can’t seem to come across the pair of pants. The demin is rather bright other reviews called it ‘dad jean’ I would say almost yes to that, I don’t believe its common to have demin of that color around everyone seems to be into the darker shades. Still the materials are nice and thick they’ll last a good while. Highly recommend. .
Sometimes, I am tempted to buy high priced Jeans like True Religion. But then, you are paying for a brand name. These simple jeans do not lack style, they may lack the flair that branded jeans may have, but they do not lack style. The dickies quality is not an empty name. These jeans have lasted well into rough wear and still look great to wear out. As long as the quality remains, I will only purchase these! .

22 – New Casio AQ230GA-9D Digital Analog Dual Time Metal Watch Multi Alarm Auto Calendar Water Resistant
Top Reviews
I bought this because I was having trouble finding a low-profile gold men’s watch with analog time that displayed the day and date for under $60. Though I preferred a simpler, mechanical calendar display, I was OK with the combination with digital on this one.My complaints:(1) The band is very narrow, more like a woman’s watch. I realize I could have checked the width, but I honestly had no idea how many millimeters a watch band I would like should be. I’m not real picky. I assume if it was a men’s watch it wouldn’t be too skinny and dainty(2) The metal of the watch and the band is very cheap-feeling. Feels almost like plastic (it’ not) or very thin aluminum.(3) Setting the time requires far too many steps and is also inconvenient. For one thing, the three buttons in the picture and tiny. As I try to push them in to set the time and date, they push into my finger or thumb too much, if hat makes sense. The results in me pressing really hard in order to change the time and date, and because the buttons are so tiny and their springs are so rigid, I can only hold a button in for a few seconds. VERY difficult. To make it even worse, you can only set the time forward. There is no way to go backward. So if the day, date, or time are incorrect when you get it, you have a lot to do and THAT’s just for the digital part of the watch! The button on the right is for setting he analog time. The watch I received was defective there was no way to press that button in. But even if it had worked, I would have had to go around the clock almost two full times (because the time on the watch can’t be set in reverse. The same goes for the date functions.Needless to say, I returned the watch and ca’t recommend it to anyone. .
Really happy I purchased this watch. It was a great price point for what it provides. I have really small wrists and struggle to find a watch that will fit. I love that the band is adjustable and that the face is bigger to give a more retro look. I also love that it is digital and analog. My only complaint is that I wish the digital part had the option to light up like my other Casio watches. Would make it easier to read at night. .
I wanted a gold-tone watch to match my wedding band, but I didn’t want to spend money on a real gold watch. I have several other Casio watches, from cheap beaters to more expensive ones, and they have all been great. So, I wasn’t worried when my search led me here. It’s a smaller watch for 2019, but it looks great and is a perfect size for the standard male wrist. If you have an extra large wrist or if you shop at the big and tall store, you may find this watch a bit small. The watch doesn’t look as cheap as it is, and the gold tones are a bit rosier, so it’s not as garish as a gold watch typically is. It does feel a bit cheap as it’s on the lighter side and the crystal is pretty soft so it scratches easily, but for the price it’s an excellent consumable watch. Once this one gets too beat up, I’ll buy another just like it to replace it. .
I bought this to replace a very similar Citizen watch that I had for about 15 years. I don’t like big clunky watches, so I like the design of the Casio: simple, lightweight and elegant. Set-up is easy. The only thing I don’t like is that the watch hands only move forward so you have to go through the entire range of hours if you need to set it back a few minutes (as I did). A couple of features I wish it had (and that the Citizen had): lighted watch dial, second hand, manual control of watch hands, chiming on the hour. But, for the price, it’s a good deal. BUT [ADDENDUM to my original (2016) review] the analog setting feature DIED (March 2019), 2 years and 4 months after purchase. I expect a watch to last longer than that. So I will not be purchasing another Casio AQ230GA-9D. .

23 – Casio Men’s W94HF-3AV Sport Watch

I bought this watch to make my work duties easier which involve a lot of scheduling and time-logging. I hadn’t worn a watch for years, but I was tired of having to take out my phone, turn on the screen, and then do the mental conversion to military time to fill out paperwork or log events.I picked this up not really being sure if it was the right choice but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s a great watch with mid-range sports watch features for a budget price. It even has some features not found on more expensive watches. It’s a good choice for someone looking for an inexpensive workout watch or someone who just needs to time things. The Good- EL backlight works really well and the button is large and easy to find in the dark. There is also an auto-light feature that will turn on the backlight when you raise your arm and tilt the watch toward you. This feature turns itself off after 3 hours to conserve battery.- A nice, sane size. Watches have gotten stupid big. This one is suitable for those with small wrists and for those who don’t want to wear a dinner plate on their arm.- It’s fairly light and thin. Not bulky or heavy at all.- It has a countdown timer with auto repeat. Auto repeat is not found on many Casios.- It has a stopwatch with a target time feature, which sounds when the target time is reached and keeps running. The stopwatch also has an auto start feature. It’s like shutter delay on a camera and it plays a series of tones to let you know when to go. Again, not found on many watches. The only ones I found with this feature were G Shocks costing much more.- It’s a Dual Time watch, so you can keep a second time zone programmed. It continues to show your home time when you are on the second time zone.- Auto calendar. You set the year, month and day, and the watch will fill in the day of the week. It knows whether the month has 30 or 31 days (or 28 or 29) and it knows when it’s leap year.- It’s got an hourly chime that can be turned on or off. Useful if you tend to get distracted and lose track of time.- It has a pretty standard 18mm lug size and ample room between the watch case and the spring bars, so it’s easy to change the strap. I put mine on an OD green nato strap. I think it looks much better than the stock strap.- It accurate. It’s a quartz Casio, so no surprise there. Over the past four days it’s lost only a fraction of a second.- The colorway is nice. The sides of the case are a dark, dusky brown and the front is a nice forest green with just a hint of metallic sheen. The text is a dark gold with a burnt orange on the light button. Accents like the indicator eye are also a dark gold. It’s good-looking and understated with a bit of a forest ranger or light paramilitary vibe. The Bad- The date display is pretty small and the characters are thin. I don’t have any issue reading the date, but you might, depending on how good your eyes are.- As some others noted, the frame under the 10-second display cast a shadow over the date area, depending on the angle of the watch. Again, no issue for me but YMMV.- The viewing angle is somewhat narrow. Not as good as the F91-W.- You can’t turn off the tone when you press the buttons, so every time you change the settings, it’s going to beep.- The strap is pretty awful. I didn’t have an issue with it being too small as other reviewers mentioned, but I have a small, 6 inch wrist. My problem with it is that the materials are cheap and the pleather is scratchy and uncomfortable. I also think it’s a bit ugly and not well-sized for the watch. I easily solved the issue by putting it on a cheap Nato strap. I think Casio should have just stuck with a plain nylon or resin brand and lowered the price a bit. What would I change?- I would want this watch to have more alarms. 5 alarms like the World Time watches would be perfect. A second countdown timer would be a nice addition. I wish Casio made a non-G Shock module with all of these features.- It would be nice if it was water resistant to 100m instead of 50m so it was suitable for swimming. That would mean the case would have to be bigger though, and I like the size as it is.ConclusionA high-value, versatile watch. At this price, it’s a great deal. Shop around other brands and even Casio’s other offerings and you’ll find you’re getting a ridiculous amount of watch for the money. If you’re on the fence, just buy it. If you don’t like the strap, there are plenty of cheap, 18mm Nato straps on Amazon that will fit it.If the features sound good, but you don’t like the OD green colorway, check out the Casio W93H. It has the same module and features. Ditto if you think the date display is too small or you don’t like the 10-second display or theextra farkles on this watch. The W93H does the same things, but with a simpler more traditional display and a basic black color scheme. .
I bought this watch because of the features it is supposed to have. It does have them but with serious limitations. I wanted date day of week, month, and year as well as digital minute and hour. I wanted a flexible replaceable wrist band (not black molded plastic, they break after about a year and are not replaceable). I wanted it t be attractive and light to wear.My biggest complaint are (1) the instructions are difficult to understand and follow, are in very small type best read with a magnifying lens and (2)the dial reading for day of the week, month and year are also tiny (once you find them) and hard to see unless in good light with a magnifying glass.I would return but did no save the packaging. I think I may end up gifting it to a grandchild. I cannot recommend it even though it does keep time. .
Looks good. Keeps good time. Isn’t uncomfortable. Simple display. Doesn’t get in my way when reaching into stuff. Two complaints so far:After a few days of use a part inside the case came loose and the loose bit makes a high pitched, tinkling sound when the watch is moved quickly. No loss of function but it’s bothersome and I don’t want to open the watch to remove the piece in case I damage the watch in the process. The watch band is designed for people with fat wrists, I keep it on the 3rd to last notch for a snug fit, but professional left-handed arm wrestlers being the target consumer isn’t the problem. It’s that the watchband will naturally sit with the buckle, loop, and extra banding all on the bottom of your wrist. The top band is also thicker than the bottom band and doesn’t bend very well. That makes the top band functionally half the length of the bottom when it’s this tight. This causes the watch face to sit on the far side of my wrist so I have to turn my arm completely upside-down to read the time. If I turn the watch so that the face is centered on my wrist it will naturally move back to the far side. Not a deal breaker but it’s annoying sometimes. .
My husband was looking for a leather band watch to use at work. This watch was very easy to program, easy to read and has held the day and time correctly. The band is made of leather and nylon. The band is 9.5 inches from each farthest end. I would not say my husband doesn’t have large wrists but unfortunately this watch was too small. He could clasp it on the very last whole provided; however, it did not leave enough room for the excess to tuck under the loop and it constantly came undone. If your wrist is less than an 8 inch circumference then this will fit nicely. If that band was another half inch longer it would have worked perfectly. Unfortunately we will have to return this one. .

Shipping is rocket fast. This smartwatch has a very modern design with lots of functions (eg steps, blood pressure, heart rate). Came with two wrist bands, which are easy to switch. I tried the metal one first but did like it. Also, I am not sure if this is just me or not. It took me a while to figure out how to use the proper finger motion to control the watch. It didn’t come with a manual, so I have to ‘swipe’ left to right, up and down, to figure out how to set the settings, adjust the volume, sync to phone, etc. Overall, it is an excellent product with higher than expected quality. .
I loveeeee This watch .this watch is very nice look and has great battery life .it was super easy to connect to my phone.you can receive text and call alerts .that way i don’t have to continuously look at may phone to for notifications. and more I haven’t found yet. , Good good .

I bought this for my son to wear to school. He has selective mutism and will not ask to use the restroom. The teacher is supposed to let him know every two hours to go, but sometimes she gets busy and forgets. This watch has 5 alarms that can be set. I use three of them for school. So when it alarms, it reminds the teacher to instruct him to go. The alarm isn’t too loud, but it is loud enough to get your attention. And I like that it only beeps for 10 seconds. This has worked very well for him at school and he likes the way it looks. He is 8. I’m very pleased with this purchase. .
This Casio digital watch turned out to be a great buy! Five plus years later, this watch is still keeping great time, holding up well and is still on its first battery. We purchased it for our son who, at the time, we just wanted him to have a watch so he could be in by dinnertime. Turns out it worked great for that so it has since been used by our two younger kids as well. They have swam in it, banged it around and it is still in great shape. The functions are easy to use and the LCD, while not a giant screen, is clear to read. .
I bought this blue version of the watch to replace the silver version that I’ve been wearing for a couple of years now. As always happens, the watch band eventually broke, which is why I’ve purchased this as a replacement. It seems wasteful to replace a functioning watch just because the band cracked, but replacing the band costs almost as much as a new watch, so I’ve only started wearing the watch today, but based on the previous one (the same except for color) it does what I want. Time, day of the week, & month. I don’t use any other features. The control buttons are slightly better protected than other Casio watches I’ve owned, so accidental button pushes don’t happen as often (but still do happen).Since I’m terrible with watches – I scratch the hell out them – I only buy inexpensive digital ones. And this one does the job. Four stars because it isn’t exactly terrific or anything, it just does the job adequately. .
My 8 Yr Olds 1st watch. Perfect for my needs. Our need was a “count down timer”, his goal was to get exercise by jogging twice a week for 5 minutes during recess for a 4 week deal. The watch was not part of the deal, but because he went out and did his jogging the first week of school I thought an inexpensive watch would be a great reward/encouragement.This watch worked great for use because:1 — My son loved the look of it (and it turned out to fit his little wrist)2 — I taught him to set the countdown timer over face-time, it was easy for him to remember the procedures to set and start/stop.3 — he loves that he can swim/shower with it on, although I made it clear not to press the buttons in water as the manufacture statesThe alarms (5 of them) and other function became fun to use too — especially the one set to 5 minutes before getting into the car for school. My hope is that it will last the semester, before my son has some unfortunate incident with it – boys will be boys. After which I think I will have got great value for the price I paid. .

I like the watch a lot but there is moisture under the crystal and it fogs up when worn. I’ve worn it for 2 weeks and it’s annoying so I am hoping it will clear up before the return deadline. If not I will be returning it. Update – I am returning it. 😟 It’s sad because I liked it a lot. .
I brought this watch for myself. It’s awesome. The strap of the watch feels great. It looks really good on and I have gotten several comments from people who liked it. .

Nice watch, but this was my concern when asking what color G Gold is. I’ve ordered a second band of same style shown in picture but in ROSE GOLD.I’ve worn this watch more than a month – NO water incursion, though it’s not been submerged, I can wash my hands and get the face wet (More than I expected from an inexpensive watch). Now with matching Rose Gold band I’m very pleased with this watch. I like it, have no regrets in the purchase. For a $30 watch it deserves a 5 Star rating for looks and performance and I’ve upgraded as so. .
The watch is very beautiful, I absolutely love the timepiece. However, (I will include a few pictures) the leather band leaves something to be desired. There are about two fist fulls of spots where the outermost layer of leather is worn away. The only reason this bothers me is I have only had this for about a month. I have worn it to bed and in the shower on more than a few occasions, but that is about the extent of the “abuse†I have put it through So we’ll see how much longer it lasts before I need to invest in a new band. .
Great item for the price. I got tired of buying expensive Swiss made watches. Some people complained anout the strap but I think it is fine. It is more comfortable than some of the straps used in more expensive watches. 200-400 dollars is considered the entry level for luxury watches and makes this one a steal. So far kerping good time. .
Many people comment on the great look of my Benyar watches and cannot believe they cost less than $30. .
