Its a perfect at home calculator when I need to do a little financial calculation on my monthly or day to day budgeting. Also, I use it for nursing school lol. I used it for my dosage calculation test and got flying colors so this calculator for sure calculates the correct numbers. Read reviews that said some arrived not working but took a chance. I teach special needs kids who need the big buttons. Well, one of the six did not work at all and another only sort of works (the “CE” button doesn’t work). So, if you’re willing to pay for six and get four, this is the deal for you. Apparently, quality control is not a hallmark of Avalon. .
These are excellent for elementary-middle school children! The numbers are large and there isn’t much “fuss” to the usage of this product. My students (4th-6th graders) love these! .
An inexpensive desk top calculator that will work for paying bills and balancing a check book when you don’t want to bother with your computer or cell phone. Quick and easy and it works. The smaller children in the family got one for Christmas in hopes they will get a jump on pre-school math functions. .
Super cheap. One came not working and two stopped within 1 week. I emailed the seller and have hear nothing back. the ones that still work do their job but you can tell that these will not hold up. .

Very cheap model. Keys stick down and they do not work after a few uses. Very disappointed as I ordered these to use with my students who are young adults with disabilities. They were using them for money counting but they keep breaking. Two were broken on delivery and you replaced them but they are very low quality. .
Well, I’m not one to give bad reviews unless it’s deserved. I ordered this for a special elderly friend for part of a Mother’s Day gift. She needs it by tomorrow. It came in a timely matter, however it was torn open and now I can’t give it to her.Thanks for nothing!To be fair, if you don’t care if it is opened and put back in the box ( still don’t know if it works) then, it may be ok for you to use. .
The price is right & it works great. My husband likes it because he can see the numbers fine. He uses it all of the time & we’ve never had a problem with it. .
Good calculator. I had a similar one but the battery died. The cost of this calculator was just a tad more than a new battery for the old one so I purchased this one. Large buttons which is good for my arthritic fingers.Would recommend to anyone. .

It takes awhile to get used to pressing the keys so that they work.If you forget to turn off the calculator, it turns off automatically after 8minutes.If you would like to replace the battery when it no longer works find the smallscrew with the battery cover and replace it with an LR1130 battery.I wasn’t sure whether to give this calculator 3 stars or 4 stars so I played itsafe and gave it 3 stars. .
This little unit has a very solid feel to it. It also has a nice option of both manual and automatic shutoff features. It’s a solar powered unit with battery backup. Note: Description states it takes an AA battery; however, the back of the unit clearly states an AG10/LR1130 battery is required (included). A tiny screwdriver, the type found in an eyeglass repair kit, will be needed to unscrew the battery compartment. Display panel is 1/4 inch high, so it may be somewhat challenging for the visually impaired. .
Ergonomically, designwise, userfriendlyness, weight, button texture-this is the best calculator out there. .
