Although smart TVs with internet connectivity are becoming more popular, many homes still don’t have them. However, with such rapid technology advances, the demand for Smart TV functionality will continue to grow. There are more options and devices right now than ever to stream Netflix, Hulu, games, apps and more to your TV. Here are some of the best options for adding streaming functionality to any TV. Roku boxes range in price from $ 50 to $ 100, making them affordable yet feature-rich devices. With Roku, you can add many channels to your TV.

It’s loads of channels and features for under $ 100. However, you should also consider that some Roku ready-to-use services have their own fees. For example, Hulu PLUS and Netflix require a subscription of around $ 7.99 per month. However, many of these Roku channels are also available for free.

Boxee is free for your favorite TV channels and even internet apps, making it similar in functionality to Roku. However, you also have the option to add the above mentioned unlimited DVR service for about $ 14.99 per month.
