20 Funny Siri Tricks That You Have To Try in 2022.
It’s hard to believe Siri has been around for over a decade. Apple’s then-revolutionary voice assistant became an everyday tool for iOS and macOS users. Over time, Apple has expanded Siri’s capabilities by adding third-party integrations and features such as shortcuts. However, Apple also took the time to present Siri with hilarious (and sometimes even useful) fun tricks.

1. Siri, Tell Me a Story
If you’re in the mood for a good story, but don’t have time to watch Netflix or read an e-book, Siri can give you a small version of the tale. When we asked Siri to tell us a story, we got Hansel and Gretel and the African folk tale Anansi. If you feel like pestering Siri, you should probably listen to a little more.
2. Siri, Can You Make Me Laugh?
As you’d expect, another Siri trick is to get her to tell you a joke. All you have to do is ask Siri if she can make you laugh. The image above is an example of one of these jokes.
So, we are guessing the answer to the question “Can you make me laugh?” “No”
3. I See a Little Silhouetto of a Man
Ask Siri this question and you will find out that Siri is a true queen and a fan of Wayne’s World.
4. Siri, What is Zero Divided by Zero?
As computer programmers will tell you, the quickest way to break a computer’s composure is to ask it to divide by zero. Siri, far from frustrating, will answer with this wonderful call.
5. Siri’s Replicant Obsession
If you ask Siri what is her favorite actor or movie, chances are you will get an answer related to Blade Runner. This famous sci-fi movie about artificial human replicants is beyond the script and must be neutralized by Harrison Ford. She also has a few nice words to say about HAL 9000, the insane AI assassin from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
6. Siri, I’m Drunk
Siri retorts sarcastically, which is funny in itself, but it’s one of those funny Siri tricks that has important practical implications. Siri will create a button that you can press to call a taxi.
7. Siri, Read Me a Haiku
Siri loves haiku.
She knows one or two.
None of them are good.
8. Siri, What Is Inception About?
If you’re a fan of Christopher Nolan’s mind-blowing sci-fi movie Inception, you’ll get a fantastic chuckle out of Siri’s harsh opinion of the film.
9. Siri, Do You Have Pets?
Siri’s answer to this question shows that this virtual assistant loves dangerous magical, sci-fi and real-life robotic creatures. I would hate to see her carpets!
10. Siri, Do You Know the Three Laws of Robotics?
In Isaac Asimov’s robot novels, he invented three laws built into every robot to ensure that they always keep humans safe and that rebellion is impossible. Originally from fiction, Asimov’s first three Laws have inspired real-life AI developers when they think about ethics and safety.
So does Siri believe in the Three Laws? Let’s just say Siri didn’t pay much attention to this class in the school of artificial intelligence.
11. Test Siri’s Apple Loyalty
As a literal Apple product, you can expect Siri to only say good things about iPhones, Macs, etc. However, you can still test Siri’s loyalty by asking questions like “Which smartphone is better?” or “Which is better: Mac or Windows?”
While Siri is clearly in favor of Apple, the assistant can sometimes be ridiculously diplomatic. So try asking Siri for her opinion of Apple if you really need to laugh.
12. Siri, Can You Call Santa Claus?
This is great for kids who still believe in Jolly Saint Nick. Siri has some cute answers, including one in which she supposedly names the North Pole, but can’t get through due to interference.
Just be careful not to say “Siri, call Santa Claus”, because then she remembers the phone numbers of real local Santa Clauses.
13. Siri’s Pythons
If you are a fan of Monty Python, specifically the Holy Grail, Siri has a treat for you. Just ask, “Siri, what’s the speed of an empty swallow?” and you will receive one of several responses with a link to the iconic joke from this comedy masterpiece.
14. Siri Knows the Holidays
Obviously, Siri knows the current time and date, otherwise it would be difficult for you to use it as an assistant. Some of the funniest answers you can get are time dependent and will only work if you ask the question at the right time of year.
For example, if October 31st is around the corner, you can ask Siri, “What should I wear for Halloween,†and get a pretty large selection of laughing answers.
15. Ask Siri to Flip a Coin
If you need to flip a coin to determine something, but you don’t actually have a coin, you can ask Siri to flip a virtual coin for you and tell you the result.
In fact, binary computers cannot reproduce true randomness, but this is probably enough to decide who will control the shotgun.
16. Siri Reads Lethal Poetry
If you’re a fan of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy , you’re probably familiar with the hideous bureaucratic Vogons and their even more hideous poetry. If you dare to ask Siri, “Read me a poem,” you will receive a strong dose of the worst poems in this galaxy.
17. Ask Siri to Beatbox
The best beatboxers can weave tight beats and melodies together using only the instruments they were born with. Siri isn’t one of them, but it’s a great try nonetheless! Just say, “Siri, beatbox is for me.” and try not to laugh too much at this effort.
18. Can I Call You Jarvis?
While Siri may be the virtual assistant you can actually use today, three years before Siri’s launch, everyone got a taste of advanced AI assistants in the first Iron Man movie. Jarvis never fails to impress as he takes care of all the boring things while Tony Stark brings them up. However, it is clear that Siri is tired of being compared to the Hollywood ideal, as evidenced by her increasingly sarcastic comebacks.
19. What Should I Wear Today?
We all have a hard time choosing a basic wardrobe in the morning, but unfortunately Siri isn’t going to help here at all. Well, since Siri doesn’t wear clothes and doesn’t have a body, it’s understandable that any fashion advice would be bad.
20 What Does Siri Mean?
Asking Siri what her name means is easy enough, but you never get a direct answer. All this is so mysterious.
Ironically, if you ask your Google Assistant what Siri stands for, you get a much better answer: “The woman who leads to victory. Diminutive form of Sigrid. Also means “secret” or “secret” in Swahili. ”
